Stacy DeMaranville
M.Ed., LBA, BCBA
M.Ed., LBA, BCBA
I started my ABA journey as a psych undergrad working in The Young Autism Project at UCLA under Dr. Ivar Lovaas. I was inspired his research, by the growth I saw in the children, and by the trust and dedication of the families. That experience completely set my course! I completed a post-doc program at Cal State Northridge for Transdisciplinary Early Intervention / Special Education and ultimately earned my M.Ed. at ASU, followed by my Board certification. I’ve worked with all ages and all developmental levels, but I’d say my greatest satisfaction comes from supporting and educating families, and from helping young children gain the ability communicate and access their environment. I’m also passionate about teaching self-advocacy at an early age to set the stage for a better, more equitable future.
