The DEPS Approach

At Developmental & Educational Psychological Services (DEPS), we are dedicated to providing high- quality, comprehensive assessments to identify psychological and developmental conditions in children. Accurate diagnosis is essential for effective treatment, and our psychological assessments serve as a valuable tool in understanding each child’s unique strengths, challenges, and support needs. Our integrated team of clinicians collaborates to ensure seamless coordination of diagnostic and treatment services, reducing the burden on families and allowing them to focus on what matters most. We believe in fostering self-confidence and empowering children to navigate the modern world. DEPS offers evidence-based therapy using Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) and Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Intervention (NDBI)—approaches that are child-led, play-based, and tailored to each child’s developmental level. We provide speech therapy to support language development, communication, and social interaction, as well as occupational therapy to enhance fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills. Through consistent, intentional support in areas like communication, play, social reciprocity, and executive functioning, we help children build the pivotal skills they need to thrive.

At DEPS, we are committed to helping children and families gain clarity, access effective interventions, and build brighter futures.
